Abstrakt: The article presents information on the challenges faced by the people of Australia due to climatic changes caused by global warming. Australia is a country prone to drought. The government is taking steps to desaline the ocean water to face the problem of lack of clean and potable water. The article states that desalined water is becoming a prized commodity as the world is warming up. Desalination plants provide treated water for domestic and industrial use.
