Abstrakt: The article reports that most women became the low-wage workers in New Hampshire. Based on the New Hampshire Women's Policy Institute study, women comprise 47% of the state's workforce but 67% of them received minimum or near-minimum wages. Through this situation, it is suggested that whatever lawmakers decide to do regarding the minimum wage they should also scrutinize policies which enable women to advance economically.
