Abstrakt:	The article presents the author's comment on the socio-economic condition of Southeast Michigan. The author thinks that the region seems to be in an economic depression, culturally challenged and losing human capital. He suggests ways to prevent brain drain. He urges leaders to consider the idea of creating an e-democracy strategy for Michigan.
