This article talks about women starting their own companies. According to the Census Bureau, women are starting businesses at a faster rate than men and are expanding their presence in professional industries. Margaret Mankin Barton, executive director of the National Women's Business Council, said the growth of women-owned firms between 1997 and 2006 was nearly twice that of all U.S. firms. |
