Abstrakt:	The article reports that the Lackawanna City Court in New York has opened its Mental Health Treatment Court designed to help people with mental illnesses by providing court-supervised and community-based treatment. It also aims to reduce crime and recidivism and improve public safety, court operations and the well-being of defendants with mental illnesses.
