The article discusses the impact of rising interest rates on small and medium-sized businesses. It mentions the possible plan of the U.S. Federal Reserve Board to consider another interest rate increase. The views of James W. Hughes, dean of Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, on small-business operators are presented. Moreover, the effects of interest rates on financing costs of companies are also addressed. |
