The article profiles Maxine Ballen, co-founder and president of the New Jersey Technology Council. Ballen was with the Business Development and Training Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania before being president of the council. According to Ballen, the council started from one staff member and 10 member companies and have grown to nearly 1,200 members. The U.S. National Association of Women Business Owners awarded Ballen as one of the Women of Distinction in 2001. |
