Abstrakt: This article reports that the Bond Accountability Commission is heading back to its roots with its plans to focus again on the nuts and bolts of the $1.2 billion construction effort under way in the city schools in Cleveland, Ohio. At the next Cleveland school board meeting on March 14, 2006, board member John Moss plans to propose that the commission not only change its focus, but its shape. Since its inception in 2001, when voters passed a $335 million bond issue for a decade-long school construction effort and a $46 million school maintenance levy, the commission has operated independently of the school board and had 15 members.
