ODANAK, QC, April 16, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - The Musée des Abénakis received the CMA Excellence Award in the Research Category for its project Fort Odanak: the Past Revisited during the 2015 CMA Awards Ceremony held on April 15th in Banff, Alberta. The evening honored excellence in all Canadian museums and highlighted the most significant museum successes. The Musée des Abénakis managed to surpass the current standards of museum practice as it promotes understanding and acquisition of new knowledge through its national archaeological project.
