The article focuses on the collaboration between the McGillicuddy family and the Moffitt Cancer Center to fight melanoma. Central to the decision of the family to support the cancer center arises to the death of their son due to melanoma. Dennis McGillicuddy and his wife Graci have made a one million dollar contribution toward the cancer research. Through this donation, the Moffitt Cancer Center has recruited physician Jim Mulé.
