The article presents information on the first Indiana Entrepreneurial Awards of Distinction. The awards were presented to 18 companies, a nonprofit organization and a pioneer in Indiana business for their various contributions to the state's economy. The new focus on distinction is part of an ambitious strategy. The strategy was undertaken by Donald F. Kuratko to expand Indiana University's entrepreneurship program. The new awards recognize the Indiana companies that show distinction in growth, entrepreneurial spirit and innovation. Some of the companies which were rewarded are Electronic Communication Systems, TGX Medical, Product Action International Inc., gh LLC, Harlan Bakeries Inc. etc. |
