The article discusses how Web sites can be an important promotion tool for small businesses. Paul Wagner, president of Masters Green Inc., built his business 18 years ago by cold-calling potential customers from his garage. And while phone sales still constitute a majority of his business, Wagner said he now relies on another method to build Masters Green's customer base--the Internet. Don Reimer, president of Small Business Strategy Group Inc., said in today's highly competitive environment, it is important for companies to have a Web site as a marketing tool to enable them to effectively compete with even the biggest businesses. |
