KYRA PHILLIPS (ABC NEWS) (Off-camera) And good morning, everyone. I'm Kyra Phillips. We are coming on the air with a political firestorm unfolding right now in New York City. You see - Mayor Eric Adams right there. He's coming before the cameras for the first time since being indicted. The city's first sitting mayor to be criminally charged. ABC News has learned this is a five count indictment for allegedly accepting improper campaign contributions. Those charges include conspiracy, wire fraud and solicitation of a contribution by a foreign national. The Mayor already rejecting calls to resign.
