Abstrakt:	The article reports that U.S. Senator Jon Kyl is preparing a separate cloture motion on a bill that would permanently lower the rate of the estate tax but keep it in place for the wealthiest Americans. It likely will keep current law in place until 2010, then link the rate of tax on inheritances to the capital gains tax, which will be at 20 percent after 2010. It also will increase the size of estates exempt from the tax, probably to $10 million.
