HIBERNIAN have had a second bid kicked out by Dundee for midfielder Luke McCowan. Mail Sport revealed the Easter Road side's first move for the Dens Park skipper at the end of June. Heading into the final 12 months of his contract, the 26-yearold has turned down the offer of an extension. With Dundee holding out for a fee of around £500,000, however, both Hibs and Bolton have failed with offers for Greenock-born McCowan, who also has interest from England and MLS. Celtic have also compiled reports, but have yet to firm up any interest. [ABSTRACT FROM PUBLISHER] |
