TAIWANESE boxer Lin Yu-ting claimed her place in Saturday's featherweight Olympic final amid the ongoing controversy over her eligibility. Lin and welterweight Imane Khelif are competing in Paris despite being disqualified from last year's World Championships by the International Boxing Association after reportedly failing gender eligibility tests. Lin, 28, won with a unanimous decision over Turkey's Esra Yildiz Kahraman, who made the same 'X' sign with two fingers as Lin's opponent in the previous round.
