Kabosu, a Shiba Inu dog, gained accidental fame after her owner posted a photo of her online. The internet embraced her wide-eyed expression, and she became the face of the cryptocurrency dogecoin. Kabosu passed away at the age of 18 in Japan. Despite her fame, Kabosu remained a normal pet who enjoyed napping and playing with her three cat companions. The popularity of dogecoin surged in 2021 but has since experienced setbacks. Kabosu's owner, Atsuko Sato, was unaware of her dog's internet fame until her followers informed her.
