Abstrakt: The article informs that René Pujol, a French restaurant that has been a fixture in the theater district for more than 30 years, is now New York's first employee-owned eatery. But the move isn't going over well with the restaurant union, which has prompted the National Labor Relations Board to file a complaint against the new owners, charging unfair labor practices. At issue is the restaurant's contract with the Unite Here Local 100. Now that the employees are their own bosses, they don't see the need for a union in their house.
