The article shows the fear among Jews across Euorpe with the surge in antisemitism and pro-Palestinian sentiment following the assault by the militant group Hamas on Israel. It informs the surge in antisemitic attacks in France and attributes the rise in antisemitism across Europe to factors including Israeli control of Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and in Gaza, anticolonial struggle of Palestinians, Arab persecution of Mizrahi Jews of African descent, and Israeli-Palestinian conflict. |
