The article informs that property on Tucson's far west side, near Ryan Air Field, is attracting more attention from land buyers indicating the potential for a housing boom beyond Tucson Mountain Park and Saguaro National Monument West to the Sandario Road corridor extending all the way north to Marana Regional Airport. A partnership led by the Cardon Companies of Mesa purchased 428 acres of vacant land on Snyder Hill Road, east of Sandario Road, for $1.97 million from Charles and Nora Phillips of Tucson. The partnership acquired the property as a long-term investment, said Will White, senior agent for Arizona Land Advisers, which negotiated the sale. |
