Abstrakt: The article informs that businesses who depend on Americans' impulse trips across the U.S. border have a new concern on the horizon under a proposed policy from Department of Homeland Security that says those with a driver's license will no longer have license to get back into the country after buying the latest curios. The agency wants to require Americans to have a passport to re-enter the country from Mexico, Canada, Panama, Bermuda and the Caribbean. The policy would be phased on December 31 this year. Currently, Americans only need a valid state driver's license or other state or federal photo identification to cross the international border from Mexico or Canada.
