Putin to bring more Russian energy to China and more Chinese companies to Russia and in a bid to counter Western sanctions and other consequences of the war in Ukraine. It shows Russia's commitment to restarting peace talks with Ukraine, as well as China's sympathy with the grievances of Putin against the U.S. and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). |
