Abstrakt: Russian employers are trying to keep programs of voluntary health insurance (VHI) for their employees despite the contraction of their budget in conditions of the pressure of Western sanctions on the Russian economy, according to a poll of insurance companies conducted by Interfax. Foreign companies that have announced their withdrawal from the Russian market are reluctant to sever VHI agreements. Demand for health insurance remains high given the continuation of the Covid-19 pandemic. Corporate customers are asking for streamlining or discounting medical programs while the rates of health services have started growing. The price hikes at clinics are not massive so far but the expected inflation in the sphere is 15-30% in 2022. This will be inevitably followed by the growth of loss rates and tariffs in VHI, insurers say. [ABSTRACT FROM PUBLISHER]
