The article informs that the Midlands Technical College Enterprise Campus in Northeast Columbia is more than just an avenue for students to earn two-year degrees and launch careers in the working world. South Carolina's 16 technical colleges are a key component of the plan to revitalize the stated economic development strategy, which is based on industry clusters. But the state's intentional drive to attract and grow knowledge-based clusters is creating a new cohesive alliance among powerful stakeholders, business trailblazers, political entities, and education leaders from the secondary schools through the universities.
