The article presents criticisms of Del Frisco's restaurant in Fort Worth, Texas. Many years ago, the author took his first business trip and could not wait to gouge the company on the old expense account. The author was in Chicago and an acquaintance invited him to join for dinner. He chose a rugged Mike Ditka-looking place that had a touch of Coco Chanel to it. The author had been to nice restaurants, but not one in a major American city. Meat is king in Del Frisco's restaurant. When one travels one can eat food that connects with the roofs of the city. |
