FORMER Rangers boss Mark Warburton has been included on the FA's shortlist for a new technical director. Dan Ashworth is serving his notice prior to joining Brighton in a similar role next year and among those being discussed as replacements are Liverpool's academy director Alex Inglethorpe, Wolves sporting director Kevin Thelwell, Leicester director Jon Rudkin, QPR's Les Ferdinand, Spurs' John McDermott, football consultant Mike Rigg and Warburton, who was in charge of Rangers between 2015 and 2017 — but has been out of work since being sacked by Nottingham Forest last December.
