The article shares author's experience as the liaison between Athens City Council and the Athens City School District Board who tasked with attending School Board meetings and having conversations with board members. It discusses that not only would modern school buildings encourage and enhance learning, they would make district competitive with other districts; and mentions about the opportunity to update facilities with what other communities around the state and country offer their students. |
