The article presents stories from several survivors of the Las Vegas, Nevada shooting incident on October 1, 2017 during the Route 91 Harvest country music festival, which was regarded as the worst mass shooting in modern U.S. history. Jennifer Campas was hit in the forehead, causing her to be blind in one eye, Karen Smerber was shot in the hip that left her stomach on an uneven shape, and Jason McMillan who was hit in a spine that left him in a wheelchair. |
