When the Ritz-Carlton Cleveland welcomes more than 200 professionals for a leadership symposium on March 29, 2004, it will mark the debut of the Public Square hotel's new ballroom. The ballroom is part of a $6.2 million project for the Maryland-based hotel chain, which local general manager Elizabeth Mullins said makes improvements at each of its 58 locations every five or six years. In addition to the ballroom, Mullins said the Ritz-Carlton Cleveland in the next year will see makeovers in the Lobby Lounge, seventh-floor meeting rooms and fitness center, and its 208 rooms. The revamped ballroom will include new furniture, carpeting, sound systems and wallpaper, all of which will serve as a backdrop for next week's Legendary Service Symposium that Ritz-Carlton itself is presenting. |
