Abstrakt:	Executives from many of the U.S.'s largest lending institutions plan to visit Capitol Hill Wednesday to urge lawmakers to allow variable rates in the repayment of consolidated student loans as part of the reauthorization of the Higher Education Act. The group is scheduled to meet with members of the House Education and the Workforce Committee, which is likely to debate whether to move from a fixed interest rate to a variable rate Wednesday, during a hearing on the cost implications of consolidated student loans.
