The article analyzes the timing of setting up security checkpoints outside airports to protect air travelers following terrorist attacks in Europe. Issues and concerns discussed are security procedures at airports to include profiling, the need to balance hardline perimeter construction with variables such as politics, economics, culture and convenience, proposed widening of concentric rings of security, and the consequences of failing to detect attackers before they reach the terminal. |
