Abstrakt: | A TREND for turning driftwood into unique furniture is sweeping the capital, according to two entrepreneurs. Artists Max Bainbridge and Abigail Booth, who create unique pieces from objects found in skips, say people are shunning imported items and are turning to washed-up wood or surplus timber to build something themselves. The couple, both 24, met while studying at the Chelsea College of Art and Design and started furniture business Forest-and-Found. [ABSTRACT FROM PUBLISHER] |
