The article discusses investigations into the mental health and possible motivations of Andreas Lubitz, the co-pilot who allegedly intentionally initiated the Germanwings Flight 9525 airplane crash. Topics addressed include findings that Lubitz had been received a psychiatric diagnosis of a mental illness but did not disclose his full medical records to Germanwings airlines or its parent airline, Lufthansa, as well as speculation over the nature of Lubitz's mental illness. |
