The article reports on the alleged witness tampering of the lawyers of business couple Steve and Tomisue Hilbert based on the claims of businessman John Menard's lawyers. Menard lawyers have denied the Hilberts' accusations of buying favorable testimony from a witness in exchange of a settlement. They have argued that the cooperation from former general counsel for New Sunshine LLC has violated the code of ethics for lawyers on attorney-client protection privilege. INSET: Lawsuits so far. |
