The article presents the author's views on the Indian government's decision not to renew his annual subscription to the Bureau of Indian Standard's (BIS) technical laws standards. He states that BIS publishes technical laws which he posts on the Internet even if it is prohibited by the agency. He adds that he has also received threats that he will be sued for putting public information online. |
