Abstrakt:	The article focuses on reports related to the selling of lead-based residential paint in 40 countries across the world. Topics discussed include Philippines' regulation related to the painting industry, cost of reformulating paints by the industry and the use of lead compounds in oil-based enamel paints as pigments for improving opacity and durability. Also discussed are lists of countries where lead paints are sold, timeline of lead-based paints and the impact of lead paints on health.
