The article discusses developments in the sustainable development strategy that was launched by the British National Health Service (NHS) for the health and social care system in England as of March 2014. Among the strategy's five key areas of focus are leadership and engagement, models of care and local communities. The opinions of NHS Sustainable Development Unit (SDU) head Sonia Roschnik and Michael Coughlin of the Local Government Association on the developments are also cited. |
