Analyzes the relation between climate parameters, especially temperature, and the start of the pollen season in the western part of the Netherlands based on daily pollen counts and temperature measurements between the years 1969 and 2000. Results indicating that there is a strong correlation between temperature and start of the pollen season; Range of days observed in advance of the start of the pollen season; Discussion of the potential future changes in the start of the pollen season under climate change scenarios. |
