| Abstrakt: | The article presents a reprint of an excerpt from the book "The Holistic Orchard: Tree Fruits and Berries the Biological Way" by Michael Phillips. It discusses the internal mechanism within a fruit tree including uptake of minerals from the soil, circulation of minerals in the leaves and accumulation of carbon in its branches. It also mentions the advantages of mixing various fruit trees having extrafloral nectar glands which attracts beneficial pollinating insects. |
