Abstrakt: Highlights: [•] Endogenous metabolites were examined in worms exposed to hypoxia and toxicants. [•] Hypoxia enhanced the accumulation of B(a)P and chlorpyrifos in exposed worms. [•] Glycerol-3-phosphate increased markedly under hypoxic condition. [•] Concurrent exposure to PCP and hypoxia suppressed TCA cycle intermediates. [•] Hypoxia was dominant even though it was less pronounced in PCP treatment. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
