The article focuses on the development by automotive recycling expert ARN Recycling of a post-shredder technology (PST)facility in the Netherlands intended to meet the target imposed by European Union (EU) to recover and reuse end-of-life vehicles by 2015. A brief description of the PST facility and the process by which it works is give. Insights from ARN Director Arie de Jong on the techniques employed at the facility are also presented.
