Abstrakt: The article discusses research which aims to examine impact of various biochar characteristics on competitive sorption of metsulfuron-methyl (ME) and tetracycline (TC). Described as a sulfonylurea herbicide, ME is a common broadleaf weed control option for both pasture and plantation crops. It reports experimental details which include preparation of chemical materials and pyrolysis of corn straw powder. It compares molecular structures and properties of TC and ME. A chart listing information relating to ash, elemental composition, and total pore volume is also presented.
