Abstrakt: The article focuses on the study on the environmental contaminants of California least terns eggs also known as Sterna antillarum brown in California. The study examines unhatched least tern eggs collected in San Francisco and San Diego bays, California, wherein eggs contents were analyzed for contaminants. The study determined residues of mercury (Hg) and selenium (Se) in all samples but eggs from San Francisco Bay has the higher elements and eggs from North Island were the lowest.
