| Abstrakt: |
The article presents a study regarding the use of high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) in measuring polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) in catalytic combustion effluents. The study used HPLC grade heptanes, propan-2-ol, and analytical grade hexane, Pye Unicam liquid chromatography-ultraviolet (LC-UV) detector, and Spectra-Physics (SP) 4270 integrator for peak area determination. Results showed that HPLC method was applicable in the determination of the total PCBs. |
