The article presents a study regarding the effect of glutathione (GSH) to the postmitochondrial metabolism of unsaturated aliphatic nitriles to cyanide in the rat liver. It mentions that unsaturated aliphatic nitriles that were included in the study are methacrylonitrile (MeAN), allylnitrile (ALN), and crotononitrile (CRN). It metabolic pathways of these nitriles involves GSH. |
