Reductive metabolism of aminoazobenzenes by Pseudomonas cepacia.

Abstrakt: The article presents the study on the mechanisms of aminoazobenzenes using Pseudomonas cepacia. The study conducted experiments such as the acetylation of p- aminoazobenzene, isolation of various strains of sewage sludge microbes from an azo dye factory and coupling. Methods include nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and thin layer chromatography (TLC). Results show that dye elimination can be achieved by shaking culture.
