Abstrakt:	The article presents a study on the identification of polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in fishes from the Arabian Gulf using a high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The study utilized HPLC grade methylene chloride, n-hexine, and acetonitrile. The results showed that the Arabian Gulf marine environment is contaminated with PAHs, but detoxification mechanisms are available for the removal of such compounds from the tissues of fishes.
