Abstrakt: The article presents a study on the effect of antibacterial and antifungal agent hexachlorophene (HCP) treatment to the hepatic carbohydrate metabolism of Mus booduga mouse models. The study investigates the effect of HCP dissolved in corn oil that was administered orally to six groups of mice at different dosages and intervals. Results show that HCP treatment increases lactate/pyruvate (L/P) ratios of liver and blood resulting to paralysis, high respiratory rate and listlessness of models.
