Abstrakt: The article focuses on the sustainability of Santalum spicatum, otherwise known as sandalwood that can be found in Western Australia. It mentions that the sandalwood was a significant part of the local economy in the 19th and early 20th centuries whereby its harvested trees are exported to Asia and the Dutch East Indies.It also discusses the market opportunities of the sandalwood industry.
