The article presents an interview with Thomas E. Spahn, commercial litigator with McGuireWoods Battle and Boothe LLP in McLean, Virginia. He talks about ethical issues facing lawyers in the U.S. with reference to American Bar Association's (ABA) Model Rules of Professional Conduct. Spahn elaborates on the ethical issues which are uniquely different in natural resources and environmental law practice. He emphasizes on the need for effective communication between client and attorney. |
